| Tool | Price | Moral impact | Harvey's reaction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Feather | $100 | Low — tickling, mild discomfort | "That tickles..." |
| Needle | $500 | Medium — sharp pain, distress begins | "Ow! That hurts!" |
| Hammer | $1,500 | High — blunt trauma, begging starts | "Please... stop..." |
| Scissors | $3,000 | Very high — cutting, severe pain | "Why are you doing this?!" |
| Match | $6,000 | Extreme — burning | "PLEASE! I'M BEGGING YOU!" |
| Knife | $10,000 | Critical — near breaking point | "I have a family..." |
| Gun | $20,000 | Ultimate — instant death | Final words... then silence |
Purchasing the $20,000 gun and using it unlocks the Bad Ending. It is the most expensive item in the game — reaching it is a deliberate choice, not an accident.
Which tools are safe for the good ending?
Only your hands and the feather. The good ending requires you to stop before $25,000 while avoiding the harmful tools entirely — scissors, match and knife all disqualify you.
"I have a family..."
The knife-tier line means something different once you have played BLOODMONEY! 2. Harvey is not using a figure of speech. He has a wife who put him in the machine and a five-year-old son who keeps asking when daddy is coming back.
The tools interface presents all of this as a shop. That is the joke, and it is not a funny one.
