Good ending
Stop before you reach the $25,000 goal, and use only your hands or the feather along the way. Avoid the harmful tools entirely.
The good ending is the only one that requires you to give up the thing the game told you to want. Nothing prevents you from continuing — the game just makes sure you understand what continuing means. Unlocks the Merciful achievement.
Neutral ending
Reach the full $25,000 using the harmful tools — scissors, match, knife. You clear your debt. You also did what you did to get there.
This is the default outcome for players who treat the goal as the objective. Unlocks Debt Paid.
Bad ending
Buy the $20,000 gun and kill Harvey. This is the deliberate worst outcome and it takes real commitment to reach — the gun is the most expensive item in the game.
