Per the official wiki, a good ending for Human Expenditure Program has not been released. Both current endings are tragic — this is by design, not something you are failing to unlock. Full explanation here.
BLOODMONEY! 2 — True Ending (canonical)
The ending the story is built around. Harvey wakes up to what has been done to him.
How to trigger it
- Keep Harvey's food bar high throughout all seven days
- Maintain his mood by playing the minigames
- Progress normally through every day — do not skip care
- Take proper care of him right up to Day 7
What happens
- Harvey becomes more self-aware with each passing day
- Nightmares of the torture from BLOODMONEY! 1 begin surfacing
- On Day 7 he realises Eun-Mi — his wife — has been behind everything
- He breaks through the screen in rage
- He uses a command prompt to delete himself from existence
- In doing so he reveals Eun-Mi's identity to the world
The weight of it: the truth destroys everything. Harvey chooses his own end over living as Eun-Mi's prisoner. He gets agency back, and it costs him everything that was left.
BLOODMONEY! 2 — Dead Ending
Neglect rather than malice. This is what happens if you simply stop taking care of him.
How to trigger it
- Let Harvey's food bar reach zero
- Neglect his basic needs for four or more days
- Do not raise his mood bar before ending days
What happens
- Harvey slowly starves inside the simulation
- His condition deteriorates over several days
- Eun-Mi boots up the program one day and finds him lying on the floor, lifeless
- He dies without ever learning the truth
- The experiment ends in complete failure
The weight of it: cruelty through inaction. Harvey dies ignorant of his own situation, never getting a single answer.
BLOODMONEY! 1 — all three endings
The original is a clicker: you are $25,000 in debt and Harvey offers himself for torture at $1 per click. Which ending you get depends on how far you are willing to go.
Good ending
Stop before reaching $25,000, and use only your hands or the feather. The game rewards refusing to finish the job.
Neutral ending
Reach the $25,000 goal using the harmful tools — scissors, match, knife. You get the money. You also get everything that comes with how you earned it.
Bad ending
Purchase the $20,000 gun and kill Harvey. This is the deliberate worst outcome and it takes real effort to reach.
BM1's three endings and BM2's two endings do not interact. There are no save imports and no choice transfers between the games. BM2 explains Harvey's backstory — it does not continue your specific BM1 playthrough.
Which order should you play them in?
Play BLOODMONEY! 1 first, then BLOODMONEY! 2. Chronologically BM2 is a narrative prequel that explains how Harvey ended up where BM1 finds him — but the reveal only lands if you have already done the clicking yourself.
