The honest answer first

According to the official wiki, a "good ending" for BLOODMONEY! 2 (Human Expenditure Program) has not been released yet. Any guide claiming to show you a happy outcome for Harvey in BM2 is describing something that is not in the game.

What the game does have is two endings, and both are tragic: Harvey either learns the truth and deletes himself, or he starves to death never knowing what happened to him.

Why people search for a BLOODMONEY! 2 good ending

Two different things get mixed together under the same search. It is worth separating them, because one of them has a real answer.

If you came here for the first one, skip to the BM1 section below. If you came for BM2, the closest thing to a "best" outcome is the True Ending — the canonical one, where Harvey at least gets the truth.

The closest thing in BM2: the True Ending

The True Ending is the canonical ending of Human Expenditure Program. It is not happy, but it is the ending where Harvey stops being a victim who does not even know he is one. Reaching it means taking care of him properly across all seven days.

  1. Keep Harvey's food bar high. This is the single most important requirement. If the food bar hits zero, you are on the path to the Dead Ending instead.
  2. Maintain his mood. Play the money-making minigames to keep the mood bar up. The game is deliberately uncomfortable here — you raise his mood by doing to his simulation what players did to him in BM1.
  3. Progress normally through all seven days. Do not neglect days. Each day advances Harvey's growing self-awareness.
  4. Keep caring for him until Day 7. The final confrontation only triggers if Harvey survives in reasonable condition.

What actually happens

Across the seven days, Harvey becomes progressively more self-aware. Nightmares of the torture he endured in BLOODMONEY! 1 start surfacing — memories Eun-Mi has been wiping every night. On Day 7 he pieces it together and realises his wife Eun-Mi has been monetising his suffering while telling their son Toby that daddy is "working on something important."

Harvey breaks through the screen in rage, gets access to a command prompt, and deletes himself from existence — exposing Eun-Mi's identity to the world as he goes.

Why this is not a "good" ending

Harvey chooses his own end over remaining Eun-Mi's prisoner. He gets the truth and he gets agency — but he still never sees Toby again. The game does not offer an outcome where the family is restored.

BLOODMONEY! 1 does have a real good ending

This is the ending most people are actually looking for, and it is genuinely achievable.

In BLOODMONEY! 1 you are $25,000 in debt. Harvey offers himself up for torture at $1 per click. The good ending is not about reaching the goal faster — it is about refusing to.

EndingHow to get it
GoodStop before $25,000. Use only your hands or the feather.
NeutralReach $25,000 using harmful tools (scissors, match, knife).
BadBuy the $20,000 gun and kill Harvey.

The good ending asks you to walk away from the money. That is the whole test. The game never stops you from continuing — it just makes sure you know what you are doing.

Will a good ending be added to BM2?

The official wiki lists a good ending as not yet released, which implies it may be planned. Nothing has been confirmed as of this writing. If it ships, this page gets updated — until then, treat any "BM2 good ending walkthrough" you find elsewhere with suspicion.
